Manchester City manager Roberto Mancini says the win at Norwich is evidence his side will not give up their Premier League title without a fight.

City won 4-3, despite having Samir Nasri red-carded just before half time and currently trail leaders Manchester United by seven points.

"I think that we showed we are there for the title," said Mancini.

"We won't leave this title easily and will fight every game. With 10 players the guys were fantastic."

He added: "For us, now it is not important to look at the table.

"We only need to work, to win as many games in a row as we can, and maybe in February we will look again at the table."

Two quickfire Edin Dzeko goals put Mancini's side ahead and, after Anthony Pilkington pulled one back for Norwich, Nasri was dismissed following his clash with Canaries' defender Sebastian Bassong.

Sergio Aguero managed to give the visitors a two-goal lead again, only for Russell Martin's header for Norwich to make it 3-2.

A Dzeko shot went in off the post and Norwich keeper Mark Bunn, before a second from Martin set up an exciting finale.

"It [the sending off] changed the game," said Mancini. "If he was not dismissed, we would have won this game without a problem.

"Norwich are a good team and 11 against 10 is not easy.

"It was not a red card. I can't understand why the linesman said to the referee that it was a red card because Samir did nothing.

"Both players touched heads but they did nothing for a red card."
