Cesc Fabregas will meet Barcelona manager Tito Vilanova this week for talks about his future, with Manchester United, Manchester City, Arsenal and Chelsea all interested in signing him.
Fabregas would prefer to stay at the Nou Camp but he will seek reassurances about his role.
Barca are unlikely to sanction a move unless they can recoup the 25million that they paid Arsenal for Fabregas two years ago.
The Gunners do have a buy-back clause at around 25m allowing them first refusal on Fabregas's next move, but first they would have to convince him to return to the Emirates.

David Moyes is understood to be keen to take Fabregas to Old Trafford and Chelsea and Manchester City are also being kept informed of developments. Arsene Wenger is keen to add a midfielder but has identified Bayer Leverkusen's Lars Bender as a target.
The 24-year-old German international, valued at 15m, is high on Arsenal's list of potential summer buys
But the club would face a dilemma if Fabregas became available, as they would want to demonstrate they had done all they could to persuade him back to The Emirates.
Sources close to the player still think it is likely that he will remain at Barcelona.

Crunch time: Tito Vilanova hopes to convince Fabregas to stay at the Nou Camp
On Friday, Vilanova returned from New York, where he has been having treatment on a tumour, and has declared that he will be coaching the team next season.
Barcelona have signed Brazil's Neymar in a 50m deal and he will be presented at the club tomorrow, flying to Spain after playing England in today's friendly fixture at the Maracana.
It is Neymar's arrival to support Lionel Messi that has put Fabregas's future in doubt, although he was the club's second-top scorer last season with 13, behind Messi on 46.
In doubt: Neymar (right) will join Barcelona for the start of next season
Why would he go to Utd? They are going to have problems next year with Moyed! It wasn't just Fergie that left Utd it was most of the back room staff as well! City are short on ideas and Chelsea are rebuild! Arsenal have it all Champions League and money in the bank! The good times are coming back!
