The technical director of Eredivisie side NEC Nijmegen has asked for the Dutch authorities to look into the loan system at rival side Vitesse.

Chelsea have given their feeder club six players, Patrick van Aanholt, Gael Kakuta, Lucas Piazon, Cristian Cuevas, Sam Hutchinson and new signing Christian Atsu.

And although Mark Hagen doesn't believe it is against the rules, he has warned that their could be as many as ten loan signings at the club if the situation isn't looked at.

'I want to be clear that I am not judging Vitesse or Chelsea because they are acting within the rules,' Aalbers told the Mirror.

'But this is a new situation for us in Dutch football and it is worthy of discussion. It is six players on loan from Chelsea at Vitesse, but if this trend continues it could be nine or 10.'

The thoughts in Holland are not dissimilar to how Football League club's thought about Watford's loan players, with the club bringing in over ten players on temporary deals last season.

The majority of them were from their parent clubs Udinese and Granada.

Hutchinson, who retired from football for 18 months before returning to the Chelsea set-up, spoke about his delight at joining the Dutch side.

He said: 'Obviously it's good to come into a place where you know people, though it's little bit different as I'm English.

'It will take time but hopefully I'll fit in well.'

@ onegoal, I think it might be a problem to the other Dutch sides seeing their league distorted in the same way as Watford distorted the championship last year.

Not a comment about Chelsea, but it is time a new loan system was worked out. Certainly should only be allowed to loan players to a LOWER division, not Premier to Premier. If you cant afford to buy, so be it.

Where are Roman's Gunmen??? Time to go duck shooting guys!! lol

Can't get us on Ffps so now trying this. Hahahahahahaha. Well take it as flattery as these desperate attempts to stop the blue machine go one. I LOVE the jealously against out club. It makes me smile. Hahahahahahaha - taxpayer1971, London, 08/09/2013 14:17 Laugh it up plastic

whats the big deal man utd send players to a Belgium club.

Hilton Kojo,Ghana how stupid and thick are you?? So you mean would rather see a player rot on the bench than see them go to a club where they get a chance to play and gain more experience and keep up with fitness ? So you want Fifa to intervene because you think it's wrong for a player to go on loan and get a crack in actually playing football. It shows they are not selfish,a lot of clubs keep players for the sake of nothing and in hand they end up ruining their careers, fitness because they have been sat on the bench for too long. Get a grip buddy, you have NO clue do you?

It's better to send them on loan than let them rot on the bench like Kagawa

Typical of Chelsea plastics to disagree, how many players have been ruined by Chelsea??????
