63 mins: They've woken Samuel Eto'o up and taken him off the pitch for a glass of warm milk. He really was the sort of signing that you thought Chelsea had put behind them i.e. great player... five years ago. Anyhow, here's Fernando.
60 mins: Ramires nearly jinks his way through, he and Ivanovic have been the pick of the Chelsea players.
59 mins: I don't think anyone's really enjoying this one. Fulham are heading for a didn't-have-a-go-not-hero 2-0 defeat. Chelsea have been poor. Mourinho will not be vindicated for leaving out Mata. Roman looks like he wants to roll himself a seven.
That goal's really cheered Roman up, though
57 mins: Mikel, who scores even less than my friend Carl (BANTZ!!LOL! Eh lads!!1?!) goes quite close with an effort. Chelsea now have their 10th corner. They've all been complete pants.
Marc Melander: "Things that will never (ever) happen : Chelsea fans breaking into a lusty chorus of 'There's only one Rafa Benitez'. Fact."
54 mins: Deep freekick into the box and SIdwell is surprised that it finds its way all the way through to him, unmarked, at the back stick. He might have done better with the header.
GOAL! Oscar scores! Not a goal to tell your grandchildren about, even if you were seeing them later this evening, to be honest. Break down the left, a scuffed cross, keeper doesn't do very well at beating the ball out, there's a scramble and Oscar hooks it in. Well, they all count. And Mourniho's Chelsea needed that. Chelsea 1 Fulham 0 (Oscar 52)
49 mins: Ivanovic one of Chelsea's brighter sparks, wins a corner down thr right. Now yet another chance for Oscar to stick in a good ball, and again he's fluffed his lines.
48 mins: Corner from the right for Oscar. Defended behind. Another go. Blocked again. Third go. Throw in.
46 mins: No changes from either side.
18.30 No ceremony from Sky. We're still listening to Jamie self-chuckle about something when we hand over to the ground, where kick off is taking place.
"Money, or the persistence of sadness", by Jose Mourinho
HALF TIME Pretty uninspiring fare, one or two boos as the players come off. Chelsea look competent but laboured, and I hate to say it, lacking someone like Juan Mata to unpick a dogged Fulham defence. A couple of close calls for the visitors, but they will be well pleased so far. And indeed, it's Fulham who have had the best chance of the match, when Bent shot straight at Cech when clear. A nil-nil is a worthy scoreline so far.
45+ mins: But now Fulham break and get a corner, which Duff wastes. That's the end of the half.
45 mins: Chelsea pressing hard in these last few minutes of the half, Hazard fashioning some space for a shot that's cleared.
44 mins: Hazard and others in a peanlty box scramble, eventually it drops to Ivanovic who drills his shot wide.
43 mins: Most exciting thing for me at the moment is whether the Chelsea fans will boo at HT or not.
42 mins: Picture of Roman there looking utterly miserable. Nobody likes to see a sad billionaire. #prayforbraveroman
39 mins: Bit of a lazy ball forward and Ashely Cole pounces, turning defence into attack in a flash. He slips it to Hazard who has time to line up a shot. A terrible shot, as it turns out.
37 mins: Workmanlike stuff from Chelsea, solid defiance from Fulham. If only Chelsea had a gifted, defence-opening attacking midfielder with a bit of magic about him.... Mata's case for inclusion being made for him, here.
35 mins: Lung-busting run from the admirable Duff wins his side a corner on the left. Well cleared.
34 mins: Chelsea are knocking on the door now. Cross comes in. Too hig for Eto'o, but only just. Now a driving run from Ramires, the Whites concede a corner. That's cleared, but again not with ease.
32 mins: Kasami clatters Hazard on the edge of the box. Oscar lines it up. Not a great freekick, into the wall and behind for a GK.
31 mins: Erm. So yeah. Chelsea are playing the ball around. Hazard and Schurrle have switched sides. The Blues playing it around, Fulham with almost everyone back. Defending well.
29 mins: Nothingy period of play is fittingly capped by a hopeful, wild shot from Sidwell.
26 mins: SIdwell and Parker doing yeoman's work protecting the Fuggers' back line. I would be surprised if Fulham fashion a better than that Bent one earlier. That was the moment.
24 mins: Chelsea have a good position outside the Fulham box but give it away sloppily. Eto'o with a solo run and shot down the left, drifting inside and driving the ball with his right foot. Deflected behind. Corner cleared.
22 mins: Chelsea have a corner down the left. David Stockdale flaps a bit but gets just enough on it. Fulham's man-to-man system has got Kasami picking up John Terry. England's Lionheart has an aerial advantage.
21 mins: Ramires whips a good ball in. Hangeland heads clear.
20 mins: Fulham will be pretty happy so far. Kept Chelsea quiet and the best chance of the match has been Bent's.
17 mins: Sidwell chops down Ramires in the centre of the field. Freekick drilled in from distance and there's a slight deflection. Stand-in keeper Stockdale gathers
16 mins: Nice ball to Schurrle, who drives to the byline. Corner. Terry puts the header over from the set piece.
14 mins: Riether barges Hazard in the back in the Fulham box... that could well have been a pen. Riether looks nervously at the ref, Mariner. Meanwhile, Ramires is in some pain after going up for a header with Richardson and landing heavily.
12 mins: Bent has got free! He's in the clear thanks to a nice ball from Kasami, but he's hit it straight at Cech. Good save. Chelsea leaving a lot of space in behind as they compress the midfield.
10 mins: Ball drilled forward and there's space for Bent to run into. The pass it just overhit - Cech comes out and heads clear.
9 mins: Handy, neat play from Fulham, albeit that Chelsea are making them do such about 45 yards from goal.
6 mins: Excellent ball in from the right by Ivanovic, Eto'o has got across his marker and he very nearly flicks it home.
5 mins: Good little spell for Fulham, cross in from the right and Steve Sidwell might have done more with the header.
4 mins: Big men still up, Oscar tries to find Terry.
3 mins: Busy, scuffling start to the match. Hazard looking to get something going down the left, Cole joins in an wins a freekick at the expense of Parker. Looked a soft free. Half cleared.
2 min: Good clearance from Scott Parker, formerly of Chelsea.
1 min: Chelsea with those three talented attacking players behind the mighty Eto'o. But it's Fulham who have the ball down the right early on. Chelsea clear via Terry.
17.29 Chelsea to kick off.
17.26 Amorebieta starts for Fulham. No Berba. Former Chelsea winger Damien Duff in the Fulham side.
17.25 Anyhow, enough about the players who aren't in the team. Here come the players who are. Eto'o starts his third in a row.
17.20 Mourinho also said that Mata isn't in the team because of his performance against Basel.
Goodwill Kurwaisimba writes: "Is Chelsea in crisis? This is just a phase. We are going to prove this with a heavy win tonight. Come on guys, this is not AVB, this is our special one."
17.10 Ruud Gullit getting stuck into Mourinho for his, erm, unromantic approach to team selection. "Everything becomes too tactical" he says. I don't know about that, but it seems incredible that there is no place in the XI for a player as gifted and nice to watch as Juan Mata.
17.05 So obviously the eyecatcher is Mata still being left out, he doesn't even make the bench. Nor does David Luiz. Schurrle is in. Mourinho is on the telly, he says the team needs some stability, "positionally but especially emotionally" - and that's why he has got Terry in for Luiz.
17.00 Hello again and welcome to our second live-blogged match of the afternoon, the West London battle between Chelsea and Fulham
No time for jibber-jabber: let's get that team news.

Here's the PA news take on things.
Jose Mourinho left out Juan Mata and David Luiz from his Chelsea squad for a west London derby with neighbours Fulham where the spotlight was on both managers.
The Blues, bidding to end a winless run which was extended to four matches with the midweek Champions League Group E loss to Basle, made three changes, with John Terry, John Obi Mikel and Andre Schurrle brought in for Luiz, Marco van Ginkel and Willian.
Martin Jol, who was the subject of jeers following last Saturday's 1-1 draw with West Brom which extended Fulham's wait for a home win to six matches, also made three changes, with Darren Bent, Fernando Amorebieta and Damien Duff drafted in.
