Chelsea have received a timely boost ahead of their weekend clash against Everton at Goodison Park as Eden Hazard has been declared fit.

He had been pictured hobbling off the Hampden Park pitch with a sore achilles just 20 minutes into Belgium's final training session before their World Cup qualifier with Scotland last week.

The sight of Hazard wincing in pain, after taking off his left boot and sock, sent a shudder through Stamford Bridge, particularly as it appeared to be a problem that kept recurring.

But as Belgium's players headed back to their clubs from Glasgow Airport on Saturday, a senior member of their medical staff said the injury had settled down after responding to treatment.

There is 'no reason' why he could not play a full part in training this week, in readiness for Saturday's match with Everton.

Recovery: He was forced to miss Belgium's match against Scotland but will be fit for Chelsea to play Everton

There will be plenty of opportunity for DeBruyne to play like cup clashes and if Frank needs a rest against lower league clubs.

We're not worried at all, we have super Kev Mirallas :)

Mata, KDB, Williane, Oscar , Schurrle, Hazard , Essien, Ramires, Ginkel, Luiz.

I doubt he will start however, probably Schurrle, Mata and De Bruyne will play. - Poopfeast420 , Belgium, 10/9/2013 17:33*********** William is ready too mate along with Oscar

I hope they won't forget Debruyne..he was by far the best player during Belgium's world cup campain. And he has currently serious doubts, according to his Belgian temamates..he is doubting if he made the right choice with Chelsea..last time he was not even on the Chelsea bench...If he won't play, he will ask for another team in January 2014. He want's to be in good shape for the world cup... Mourinho better be honest with him... He's not a player to be 3rd of 4th choice...he will become unhappy then and leave...

Poor Everton, they gonna get gangb#nged

The haters are fearing and trembling pawahahahahahahahahhahahahh

now lets play hazard, mata and willian behind eto'o over the weekend. it love to see that combination. and lets also give lamps a break this time around. Ginkel should step up.

He is our best player.....most talented....just needs to be more selfish....and he can be a superstar.

Oh good, the sweat was pouring off me with the worry about a lack of midfielders:)
