Cesc Fabregas does not want to leave Barcelona for Manchester United, says ... - Telegraph.co.uk

Confirmation that Fabregas is committed to Barcelona will come as a boost to Vilanova following the departure of rising star Thiago Alcantara, who had also been targeted by Moyes.

The Spain international is currently finalising his move to Bayern Munich after the European champions reached an agreement with Barca last weekend to sign the 22-year-old for a fee which could rise to 25million euros (£21.6m).

More good news for Barca came with today's announcement that midfielder Sergio Busquets has signed a contract extension which ties him to the Nou Camp until June 2018.

The new deal also has an option to be extended for a further season up until 2019, while the buyout clause for the Spain player remains at 150 million euros (£130m).
