The odds suggest that this will be another two-horse title race with Chelsea - the next team available in the market - at 12/1 (13.0) with William Hill and Arsenal now a 66/1 (67.0) shot to finish on top come May.
Andre Villas-Boas' side have been pushed out to 11/8 (2.38) with William Hill to secure another top-four finish.
Arsenal are still odds on to do likewise, with a Gunners top-four finish priced at 10/11 (1.91) with the same firm.
The relegation betting also suggests two clubs are in serious danger. Reading are just 2/7 (1.29) to suffer an immediate return to the Championship while Queens Park Rangers, now under the guidance of Harry Redknapp, are 4/7 (1.57) to drop out of the division.
The Royals have won just one of their 15 Premier League games this term and despite some encouraging performances, their inability to keep leads and secure points looks as if it could prove very costly at the end of the season.
The only team yet to win a Premier League game this season are QPR. New manager Harry Redknapp should be given support in the transfer market in January but with just seven points from their first 15 matches leaving the London club eight points adrift of safety, he looks to have his work cut out.
Rangers are available at 5/4 (2.25) to stay up.
Despite a good run of recent form, the bookmakers still make Southampton an even money (2.0) shot to go down while Sunderland - who now occupy 18th place in the table - are available at 9/4 (2.80) for the drop with both Wigan (15/8) and Aston Villa (5/2) both shorter in the relegation market than Martin O'Neill's men.
