Wenger last won the prestigious award in 2008

Arsene Wenger has had to endure a few insults in his time but rarely has he been so damned by faint praise than in France's latest list of player and manager of the year.

This month's issue of France Football magazine publishes the player and manager of the year lists, one of the country's most prostigiuos footballing awards that have been running since the 1960s. They are the equivalent to the PFA awards in Britain.

Arsenal manager Wenger last won the award in 2008 but this year he does not even make the top 10.

To add insult to injury, the coach of Zambia, Herve Renard, finished higher in sixth. Zambia are 39th in the official FIFA team rankings.

WHO CARES? TYPICAL DM TRYING TO STIR IT UP AGAIN,

Most insignificant award of the year. Aren't all of those players on ban for something .

It's cos he publicly snubbed France, saying he would rather manage Arsenal :))
