There should be plenty of goals for the Stamford Bridge crowd to enjoy on Monday morning (EDT) if the defensive efforts of Chelsea and Manchester United in their respective UEFA Champions League matches on Wednesday (EDT) are any guide.
United will travel to London for a pivotal Barclays Premier League clash in much heartier voice after their come-from-behind 3-2 win over Sporting Braga at Old Trafford.
Chelsea, on the other hand, crashed to a 2-1 defeat at Shakhtar Donetsk. Their UCL title defence may not have hit the panic stage just yet, but they are only one bad result away from serious questions being raised.
Both sides aren't short on options for scoring goals. Only once this season have either side failed to find the back of the net.
But life at the other end of the field should be a cause for concern.
Manchester United's defensive frailties look the more telling, but that's not to exonerate Chelsea, especially after the way the Ukranian side took them apart.
Everyone expected Sir Alex Ferguson to chase extra defensive options in the off-season, but instead he bolstered his attack with the likes of Shinji Kagawa and Robin van Persie.

Perhaps he was banking on a successful return from long-term injury from captain Nemanja Vidic and some better form from Rio Ferdinand.
While Vidic did make it back, it was only a brief tease for United fans, while Ferdinand finds himself more engulfed in controversy than spending meaningful time on the field.
Against Braga, United went with Michael Carrick and Johnny Evans in central defence. Their deficiencies were ruthlessly exposed inside the first 20 minutes, especially in aerial duels, when the visitors went 2-0 up.
It was only their attacking quality that bailed them out.
The warning bells have been sounding all season. Tottenham Hotspur scored three at Old Trafford, even EPL cellar-dwellars Southampton came within minutes of pulling off a massive upset.
Chelsea have the capabilities to tear suspect defenses apart with their swarming attacking midfield triumverate of Eden Hazard, Oscar and Juan Mata. Only United have scored more goals in the EPL.
Conversely, Chelsea's back four, which was opened up so often and so ruthlessly last season, is again showing worringly signs.
It's not something that has spilled over into their EPL campaign as yet, although keeping United's attack of Van Persie, Wayne Rooney and Danny Welbeck at bay will be another matter entirely.
But they have been caught out in the early stages of their Champions League title defence, first by Juventus, who put two past Petr Cech - and could have won the game late on - and now Donetsk.
For all his undoubted potential, David Luiz remains somewhat of an enigma - brilliant one day, ordinary the next. John Terry has been preoccupied with other matters while Gary Cahill can be a little unreliable.
Opponents have been getting a lot of joy down the Chelsea flanks. Ashley Cole and Branislav Ivanovic are brilliant bombing forward, but isn't defence the real reason why they are in the team?
The two big guns are not alone with their defensive shortcomings. Manchester City have struggled at times this season while Arsenal simply can't find a goalkeeper to hang on to a shot.
The easy answer is to make a splash in the January transfer window, but even that is fraught with uncertainty.
Until then though, just don't expect too many 1-0 results.
