Petr Cech has hailed Chelsea's flying start to the Premier League season and says he cannot wait for next weekend's title clash against Manchester United.
The Czech goalkeeper has starred as the Blues have won seven of their opening eight league fixtures to open up a four-point gap over United and reigning champions Manchester City.
Roberto Di Matteo's side travel to Shakhtar Donetsk for a Champions League tie on Tuesday night, but their No 1 has told the club's official website he is already looking forward to Sunday's game at Stamford Bridge.
This way to United: Cech is looking forward to the title clash
'We have made many good starts in the time I have been here but we started slowly the first two games this season. We seem to get better as the team gets to know each other,' said Cech.
'Now we have played two tough away games at Arsenal and Spurs and we got six points which is a huge advantage, but now we await the game against Manchester United at home because that will be a another big test.'
Cech, 30, also took time out to praise the recent performances of Spanish attacking midfielder Juan Mata, who scored twice in the 4-2 win at Tottenham on Saturday.

Mata was rested at the start of the season after a summer in which he played in both Euro 2012 and the Olympics, and Cech feels he has benefited from that time off.
'People were surprised when he left us after the start of the season and went for a holiday but you can't play two seasons in a row,' insisted Cech.
'By this time he would have been burnt out without any break but now you can see he still has the hunger to play and he is fit and has a lot of energy. It is great to see him playing like that.'
I would really like a media organisation, any media organisation to get together completely neutral refereeing experts to review all controversial refereeing decisions in the premier league over the last twenty years and broadcast the result. What that review would reveal is an unequivocal conclusion that manure has had more controversial refereeing decision going in their favour than any other team in the premer league over the last twenty years. In fact manure in my opinion has probably had controversial refereeing decision benefitting them than the rest if the premier league combined total.
