This weekend's Premier League fixtures delivered another action-packed and goal-filled feast of entertainment, with a total of 33 goals scored, and at least three in every game apart from Norwich City's shock 1-0 win over Manchester United.
That result at Carrow Road - which saw the Canaries extend their unbeaten run to five games - was not the only shock though, with just two of the top five teams recording victories.
Chelsea went down 2-1 at West Brom, and Everton were beaten by the same scoreline against Reading, who picked up their first three points of the campaign at the Madejski Stadium.
Manchester City emphatically beat Aston Villa 5-0 at the Etihad Stadium, while Liverpool were the only other side to keep a clean sheet, with a 3-0 success over Wigan Athletic at Anfield.
Arsenal prevailed in the north London derby with a 5-2 victory over ten-man Tottenham, and Swansea won 2-1 away at Newcastle United. Southampton emerged victorious from the battle of the basement boys, with a 3-1 success against QPR at Loftus Road.
On Sunday, Fulham went down 3-1 at home against Sunderland after Brede Hangeland was sent off in the first-half for the hosts.
After another enthralling weekend of top-flight action, GiveMeFootball brings you its Premier League team of the week, in an experimental 3-4-1-2 formation...
GK: John Ruddy | Norwich City
The England goalkeeper pulled off seven impressive saves on his way to a man of the match performance for Norwich. Ruddy's was certainly the most notable display of a back-line that became the first to keep a clean sheet against Manchester United since the Red Devils' opening day loss to Everton.
DF: Michael Turner | Norwich City
The heart and soul of the Canaries' spirited defensive display. Always in the right place at the right time, Turner put his body on the line and successfully got his head to numerous crosses to keep Manchester United's attack at bay.
DF: Laurent Koscielny | Arsenal
The 27-year-old turned in a long-overdue impressive performance at the heart of Arsenal's defence, and produced one last-ditch tackle to prevent Aaron Lennon from scoring in the north London derby.
DF: Nicky Shorey | Reading
Consistently solid at the back, Shorey also provided Reading's main threat in attack with no fewer than nine accurate crosses into the Everton box at the weekend.
RM: Jason Puncheon | Southampton
Puncheon provided impetus from the right side of midfield for Southampton, on his first return to Loftus Road, having played there on loan last season. His sweet left-footed curling goal from the edge of the box was just reward for his impressive performance.
CM: Santi Cazorla | Arsenal
The diminutive Spaniard was at his creative best against Tottenham, making the most of Arsenal's one-man advantage. He was involved in most of the hosts' intricate build-up play, and topped off his performance with a goal and an assist in the 5-2 thrashing.
CM: Youssuf Mulumbu | West Brom
While the Baggies' strikes Peter Odemwingie and Shane Long will take much of the plaudits for their impressive victory over Chelsea, midfield general Mulumbu was also instrumental, sweeping up in front of his back-four, and regularly winning, and breaking up possession.
LM: Gareth Bale | Tottenham
The Welsh winger provided a constant threat for Tottenham, even after the visitors were reduced to ten men, following Emmanuel Adebayor's reckless lunge. His tireless running was rewarded with a goal, but it was nothing more than a consolation for Andre Villas-Boas' side.
AM: Samir Nasri | Manchester City
The Frenchman controlled the game for the champions, completing 51 passes in the final third of the pitch and laying on eight chances for his Manchester City team-mates. Daivd Silva is often credited with being Roberto Mancini's main creator, but against Aston Villa, Nasri was the main threat at the Etihad Stadium.
ST: Luis Suarez | Liverpool
Two more strikes for the Uruguayan forward against Wigan to take his season's tally to ten Premier League goals. A constant menace in the box, Suarez never gives opposition defenders a rest, and once again proved his quality with a well-taken brace.
ST: Carlos Tevez | Manchester City
The Argentine striker ended his barren spell of just one goal in his last 12 appearances for City, with a brace of his own in the 5-0 thrashing of Aston Villa. His first came from the penalty spot, while his second was a close-range tap-in. But, the manner of his performance will be the most pleasing thing for Roberto Mancini.
