Excuse the 'typos'!!! ('league's' and 'it' instead of 'leagues' and 'is' ) I'll have to wear a 'dunce' hat now!! LOL!!
On the latest 'race' row with Mark Clattenburg, I can only say "what is going on?" This is now getting completely ridiculous!! If he did say something racist, then fair enough, but if he didn't, John Obi Mikel should be banned for the same 4 games as Terry, as it is surely just as bad to falsely accuse someone of 'racism' as it is for someone to be guilty of it!! What really doesn't help is that you get a group of black players saying that they want to form their own players union, just for black players. Then you get the 'Black Lawyers' putting their two penneth in, just to gain some publicity, when it has nothing to do with them!! Now, I am NOT a racist, as I do not discriminate against someone because of the colour of their skin. After all, that is what racism is supposed to be!! However, when you have black players wanting to create their own players union, black lawyers have their own group and god knows what other 'black only' groups exist in OUR society, I have to say that these actions to not exactly endear them to me, or my kind!! If Gordon Taylor said the PFA was for 'white' players only, or that there were 'white lawyers' groups and other 'white only' groups, there would be an avalanche of uproar created!!! Why, then, is there not the same uproar from 'white' people, when 'black' people are allowed to create groups which alienate 'white people', who just happen to be the indigenous population? For me, this is blatantly racist toward 'white' people!! Therefore, as nothing is done about it, the very term 'racism' is racist, as it would appear that it can only be suffered by 'black' people!! Be very careful what you wish for, as you really don't want to stir up a hornet's nest!! If society is not careful, this could end up being very, very ugly!! Do you REALLY want to be like Serbia? If the indigenous population feel that it is becoming the victim of oppression, and it has a real danger of becoming reality if these issues are not adequately dealt with, then it WILL fight back!! If we get to that point, there will be no going back!! That is why it MUST be dealt with quickly, and more importantly, properly!!!
